Endothelial Cell Medium

Endothelial Cell Medium (ECM), when used with Endothelial Cell Growth Supplement (ECGS, Cat #1052) and 25 ml of fetal bovine serum (FBS) is a complete medium designed for optimal growth of normal endothelial cells in vitro. It is a sterile, liquid medium which contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, hormones, growth factors, trace minerals and a low concentration of fetal bovine serum (5%). The medium is HEPES and bicarbonate buffered and has a pH of 7.4 when equilibrated in an incubator with an atmosphere of 5% CO2/95% air. The medium is formulated (quantitatively and qualitatively) to provide an optimally balanced nutritional environment that selectively supports the growth of normal endothelial cells in vitro.

nitrate/nitrite assay kit

The Griess analysis method is the most commonly used and simplest technique for detecting NO concentrations. This method works by summarizing the nitrogen coupling between diazo compounds, which are formed from sulfonamides with NO2 and naphthyl diamine. The nitrate 2/ nitrite 2 test kit includes various dyes, a nitrate reductase, an enzyme cofactor, a buffer solution, and standard solutions of NO2 and NO3.

ROS Assay kit

The MCE reactive oxygen species (ROS) detection kit uses the fluorescent probe DCFH-DA to detect ROS. The principle of detection is that DCFH-DA initially has no fluorescence and can penetrate the cell membrane, where it is hydrolyzed by esterases within the cell to form DCFH, which is impermeable to the cell membrane. ROS in the cell can oxidize the non-fluorescent DCFH to produce fluorescent DCF. The fluorescence signal of DCF is detected using fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, or laser confocal microscopy to analyze the level of ROS within the cell.
