The X-ray diffraction facility, under the supervision and care of Dr. Hadi Arman, offers the chemistry department with the means of X-ray diffraction analysis which is the most reliable route for ascertaining the structure of crystalline materials. The facility maintains a state of the art Rigaku diffractometer. This sealed tube system is equipped with a CCD area detector and can analyze samples at various temperatures. Data processing and analysis are executed on PCs running Microsoft Windows.
